| 4 Cups | Apples, McIntosh |
| 1 - 1 1/2 Cup | Sugar |
| 1 Tbsp | Lemon Juice, squeezed |
| 1 Cup | Water |
1) Peel, core and boil apples on high heat until boiling. Boil for 10 minutes.
2) Add at least 1 cup of sugar to 4 cups of apples. Add to taste. Boil for an additional 5 minutes.
3) Add enough water to make a desired consistency of creaminess.
4) Boil and heat jars in oven, as would for jam and store apple sauce in jars.
